The Chardham Yatra is one of the most revered pilgrimages in India, covering four sacred shrines—Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath—nestled in the pristine Himalayas of Uttarakhand. These holy sites, dedicated to Goddess Yamuna, Goddess Ganga, Lord Shiva, and Lord Vishnu, hold immense spiritual significance for devotees seeking peace, divine blessings, and salvation (Moksha).

This journey is not just about visiting temples; it is an opportunity to experience breathtaking landscapes, the serenity of the Himalayas, and the divine energy that surrounds these ancient shrines. With well-planned accommodations, seamless transportation, and experienced guides, our Chardham Yatra package ensures a comfortable and deeply spiritual experience.

Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

  • 1: Day 1 : DEHRADUN

    This is the reporting day at Dehradun, our main base and the starting and ending point for the Heli-tour.

    Himalayan Heli arranges an extra night halt for the passengers, which includes dinner and breakfast, allowing you to relax and be fully prepared for the journey ahead.

    Passengers will be picked up from Dehradun Airport/railway station/bus stand based on their arrival timings.

    In the evening, there will be a mandatory Tour Briefing conducted by our Dehradun team at around 19:00 Hrs. During the briefing, duffel bags will be provided, and passengers will need to pack their necessary luggage. Maximum 5 kg per person will be permitted.

    Important Note: Our staff will take the body weight of each pilgrim during the tour briefing. Please ensure your presence for the same.

  • 2: Day 2 : YAMUNOTRI DHAM

    This is the starting day of the Chardham Yatra. Passengers will check out from the hotel at 06:30 AM, after an early morning breakfast. Our team will pick them up from the hotel and take them to Sahastradhara Helidrome.

    Himalayan Heli has its own Heli-base in Kharsali, where our ground staff will warmly welcome the passengers. The staff will then assist passengers in settling into the hotel, which is within walking distance from the helipad.

    After reaching the hotel, passengers will be taken for darshan as soon as possible to avoid the yatra rush.

    • Approximate time for Yamunotri Temple Darshan: 5 hours 30 minutes (round-trip). The Yamunotri trek is 6 km one-way.

    Sightseeing at Kharsali:

    • Hot Spring at Yamunotri Temple
    • Yamuna Mata Temple
    • Shani Temple

    Please Note: Since Kharsali village is one of the least developed destinations among the Chardhams, hotel accommodation will be basic.

     
     
     

  • 3: Day 3 : GANGOTRI DHAM

    • After breakfast, passengers will check out by 07:30 Hrs.
    • Arrival at Jhalla Helipad will be at 08:30 Hrs.
    • Jhalla is Himalayan Heli's second heli-base in the Chardham sector. After landing at Jhalla, passengers will be taken to Harsil village and checked into the hotel.

    Harsil is the second destination of our tour, known for its abundant apple orchards and is considered one of the most scenic and beautiful destinations of this tour.

    • Passengers will be taken for Gangotri Dham darshan either before or after lunch, depending on the rush at the temple.

    • Approximate time for Gangotri Temple Darshan: 3 hours 30 minutes (round-trip). The road distance to Gangotri Temple is approximately 25 km, which is roughly a 50-minute drive.

    Sightseeing at Harsil:

    • Bagodi Village
    • Ancient Laxmi Narayan Temple in Harsil
    • Additionally, Harsil offers many nature walks to explore the surrounding beauty.

  • 4: Day 4 : KEDARNATH DHAM

    • After breakfast, passengers will check out by 07:30 Hrs.
    • Arrival at Sersi Heli-base will be at 09:00 Hrs.
    • Sersi is Himalayan Heli's third and oldest heli-base in the Chardham sector, from where we operate the shuttle services to the Kedarnath Ji Shrine.
    • Passengers will be ferried to Kedarnath Dham for darshan via a shuttle service flight.
    • Approximate time for Kedarnath Temple Darshan: 2 hours.
    • The shuttle service flight from Sersi to Kedarnath is approximately 7 minutes long.
    • Passengers might be ferried in different shuttle service flights due to the maximum weight-carrying capacity of the aircraft at a high-altitude destination like Kedarnath.

    Sightseeing at Sersi:

    • Triyuginarayan Temple: This temple is the venue of the celestial marriage of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati (Subject to weather and road traffic conditions).

  • 5: Day 5 : BADRINATH DHAM

    • Passengers will check out by 05:00/05:30 Hrs.
    • Arrival at Badrinath will be at 06:30 Hrs.
    • Passengers will first check-in to the hotel and have breakfast. Darshan and sightseeing will be done after breakfast or lunch, depending on the rush at the temple.
    • Approximate time for Badrinath Temple Darshan: 1 to 1.5 hours. Passengers will be transported from the hotel to the temple by car.

    Sightseeing at Badrinath:

    • Mana Village: Known as the 'First Village of India' due to its proximity to the China border.

    Aarti / Special Pooja at Badrinath Temple:

    • Swaran/Chandi Aarti (on an additional direct payment basis at Badrinath), with extra vehicle charges.

  • 6: DAY 06 : RETURN TO DEHRADUN

    • Passengers will check out by 05:30/05:45 Hrs.
    • Upon arrival, our team will be there to receive the passengers.
    • The passengers will then be taken to the Dehradun hotel to collect their luggage from the cloak rooms, followed by breakfast.
    • Later, they will be dropped at the airport/railway station, where we will bid them farewell.

Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Payment

  • A minimum of 50% advance payment is required at the time of booking.
  • The remaining balance must be paid 7 days before the journey.
  • Payment modes: Bank transfer, UPI, credit/debit card, or cash.
  • Booking is subject to availability, and confirmation will be provided upon full payment.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • 30+ days before departure: 80% refund of the total package cost.
  • 15-30 days before departure: 50% refund.
  • Less than 15 days before departure: No refund.
  • No refunds will be provided in case of trip cancellations due to natural calamities, landslides, weather conditions, or government restrictions. However, alternative arrangements will be made if possible.

3. Travel & Weather Conditions

  • Travel is subject to weather and road conditions. Any delays or changes due to natural calamities are beyond our control.
  • Helicopter services for Kedarnath are weather-dependent. If flights are canceled, alternate travel plans will be arranged, but refunds will not be issued.
  • We are not responsible for additional expenses incurred due to road closures, landslides, or transport disruptions.

4. Health & Safety

  • Due to high-altitude travel, good physical health is recommended.
  • Travelers with heart disease, asthma, high blood pressure, or other serious health conditions should consult a doctor before booking.
  • A medical fitness certificate may be required for helicopter travel or trekking.
  • Carrying a personal medical kit and warm clothing is advised.

5. Accommodation & Meals

  • Accommodation will be provided in standard hotels, guesthouses, or camps on a twin/triple sharing basis.
  • Rooms are subject to availability and may vary depending on location.
  • Only pure vegetarian meals will be served during the trip as per pilgrimage norms.

6. Transport & Luggage

  • Travelers are advised to carry light luggage, as large suitcases may not be accommodated in all vehicles.
  • Transport will be provided as per the itinerary. Any additional personal travel expenses will be borne by the traveler.
  • In case of vehicle breakdowns or unforeseen delays, alternative arrangements will be made.

7. Liability & Responsibility

  • We are not responsible for loss of personal belongings, accidents, injuries, or illnesses during the journey.
  • Travel insurance is highly recommended for all travelers.
  • Any damage caused to hotels, transport, or other properties by the traveler must be compensated by the traveler.

8. Special Notes

  • VIP Darshan is subject to temple administration rules and availability.
  • Mobile network coverage may be limited in high-altitude areas.
  • Alcohol and non-vegetarian food are strictly prohibited during the pilgrimage.
